We are delighted to announce a significant update regarding the Journal of History and Social Sciences (JHSS).
Effective from the first issue of 2025, JHSS will transition from a bi-annual publication schedule to a quarterly publication schedule (four issues per year).
This exciting change reflects our commitment to:
- Timely Dissemination: Ensure faster publication and dissemination of high-quality, relevant research in the humanities and social sciences.
- Increased Visibility and Impact: Enhance the journal's visibility and impact within the academic community.
- Accommodate Growing Submissions: Provide more opportunities for scholarly contributions and manage the increasing volume of quality manuscripts we receive.
The quarterly issues will be published in:
- Issue 1: January–March
- Issue 2: April–June
- Issue 3: July–September
- Issue 4: October–December
We are confident this adjustment will better serve our authors, reviewers, and readers. The editorial team is working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the high standards you expect from JHSS.
