This study is an attempt to understand the concept of good Governance and evaluate the past and present status of Good governance in Pakistan and suggest a way forward for effective and efficient future. The focus of the research is to understand the concept of Global Governance and assess Pakistan’s performance against various governance indicators. . The research looks at some of the harsh realities of Pakistan and it’s after affects that have occurred due to the evils of corruption in society. The section “Way Forward” looks at some recommendations by various researchers in the journey of Good Governance in Pakistan and includes suggestions by the author on possible solutions.
