Some argue that Urban Spaces have souls, bodies and charisma. As per the theoretical framework of Hanson & Verkaaik,1 we will explore the Performative Charisma of Urban Space-charisma in the city-with special reference to Karachi. We will investigate2 charisma present in Karachi's crowds, in her daring individuals, in knowledge available in fiction and nonfiction based on Karachi. In the last, we will explore, in the light of literature based on Karachi, if cities have souls, is it sensible to say cities have bodies?
